HOW SOON WILL YOUR ODER BE SHIPPED?
BB Candle Co. aims to get your oders out as soon as possible, but please allow up to 2-4 business days. If there are any delays, we will get in contact with you to let you know. Once shipped, please allow 2-5 business days for it to reach you. You will be provided with a tracking confirmation for you to track your order. WHAT TYPE OF WAX DOES BB CANDLE CO. USE?
BB Candle Co. uses soy wax, as it is a natural, renewable resource. This means that it is non-toxic. It is also biodegradable and if accidently spilt, cleans up with soap and water. Soy wax has a lower melting point compared to other waxes such as paraffin. Therefore soy candles will burn slower or longer.
WHAT TYPE OF WICKS DOES BB CANDLE CO. USE?
BB Candle Co. uses CDN Stabilo wicks and these are considered one of the best wicks in the candle industry. They are a flat braid wick made out of natural cotton fibres with a paper core for rigidity. CDN Wicks are zinc and lead free and acid resistant. Trim CDN Wicks to 5mm in length after each burn.
HOW LONG SHOULD YOU BURN YOUR CANDLE?
You should not burn your canle for longer than 4 hours at a time. This will reduce the risk of black soot coming off the flame, and will reduce black residue being left around the rim of the jar.

​It is important that the initial burn be 4 hours to allow time for the wax to melt to the edges of the jar/tin. This then creates a candle memory, meaning when you burn the candle for a second time and onwards, there should not be any tunnelling.
WHY CAN'T YOU SMELL YOUR CANDLE?
This is a very common question. Many people complain that they cannot smell the fragrance of their candle. There may be a couple of factors:

Where are they burning the candle; and

How long they were burning the candle for?​

If you have purchased a travel tin candle, this may not be suitable in a bigger living space as it is a smaller candle, and more suitable for a smaller room. However if you are wanting to burn a candle in a larger room, the larger jar would be preferred. In addition, when burning a candle you need to allow a burn for 2-4 hours for the fragrance to fill the appropriate room size (depending on the candle size). So if you only burn a candle for 30 mins, for example, you may not smell the candle.
WHY HAS YOUR CANDLE TURNED A DIFFERENT COLOUR?
The raw materials that make up the fragrance oils can create a variance in colour. In some cases, the same fragrance can vary from batch to batch. This is due to the raw material, especially the more natural derived ingredients.
If your candle has changed to an off white/yellow type colour, this will not affect the candles performance at all.
CAN YOU RE-USE MY CANDLE JAR/TIN?
Yes, you certainly can. Simply clean the jar by using hot, soap water. Please remember DO NOT pour liquid wax down your drains. The wax will solidify in the pipes and clog your sink.
